AAPAI Application Package
Your industry’s work,
in one package with AI.
AAP (AI Application Package) is a solution in development at Artivation that brings together the many business apps each industry needs, alongside AI, so they can be used as a single package. Right now, we are building AAP together with the companies that come to us, learning how their work gets done. It’s perfectly fine if you’re still at the stage of wondering what AI can do.
AAP
AI Application Package
AAP stands for AI Application Package. It combines the business apps an industry needs — quotes, customer and project management, daily reports, billing and more — with AI, in a single package preconfigured for each industry. There’s no need to pick and assemble tools one by one. We are currently developing it while learning how work gets done in each industry.
Many apps for each industry.
One package to use them.
For each industry, AAP provides the many business apps the work requires — quotes, customer and project management, daily reports, scheduling, billing and more. You don’t have to pick and subscribe to them one by one. Adopt the AAP for your industry and everything you need is already in place, working as a single package.
Business apps by industry (examples)
The AAP for your industry
Used as one package- One contract, one login
- Data flows between apps — no re-entry
- AI organizes and drafts; people review and decide
- Preconfigured for your industry, with onboarding support
App lineups are examples. AAP is currently in development, and we are building it together with each industry as we learn how their work gets done.
It starts with a conversation.
AAP makes it real.
You don’t have to wait for AAP to launch. Start by telling us what’s getting in the way of your work today. We’ll sort out together where AI can make a difference, and build from the places where AAP is the fastest path.
From first conversation to adoption,
with you all the way.
AAP onboarding support is, in effect, AI and DX consulting. So you can move forward even without dedicated IT staff, Artivation works alongside you from mapping your current work to getting it adopted across the company. You can decide whether to adopt AAP after we talk. Even before AAP launches, we can advise on using AI with the tools you already have.
- 01Map your workTogether we lay out your current workflows, the tools you use, and the tasks that take the most effort.
- 02Design AI useWhich tasks go to AI, and where do people review? We set priorities while weighing cost against impact.
- 03Setup & migrationWe configure AAP for your work and import your existing data, connecting with software you already use, such as accounting.
- 04AdoptionWe help with training and operating rules so the tools are actually used on the front line.
- 05Review & expandWe improve based on how it’s used, and gradually widen what AI handles.
What’s missing isn’t
more AI tools —
it’s a way to actually use them.
There are already plenty of business tools with AI. Yet at many companies, there aren’t enough people to implement them or enough design to keep them in use, so they don’t deliver results.
For companies without dedicated IT staff, choosing tools, combining them and configuring them for their work is a heavy burden. AAP takes that burden on entirely, with a package pre-fitted to each industry’s work and hands-on onboarding.
Reference: Both IPA’s “DX Trends 2026” and the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency’s “2025 White Paper on Small and Medium Enterprises in Japan” cite talent and cost as barriers to digitalization for small and mid-sized businesses.
What we build — and what we don’t.
Rebuilding everything only adds to the customer’s burden. AAP works within a clearly defined scope.
What AAP builds
- A single package that replaces the separate tools you subscribed to for each task
- Workflows that connect an industry’s common daily work from intake to completion
- Shared data for handling projects, customers and documents in one place
- AI that organizes information and drafts documents
- Preconfigured workflow templates, plus support for setup, data import and training
What AAP doesn’t build
- Rebuilds of areas where specialized software is strong, such as accounting, payroll and compliance (we integrate instead)
- Wholesale replacement of core systems (ERP)
- Custom development built from scratch for each company
- Fully automated decisions that skip human review
Separating the shared foundation
from what’s industry-specific.
We build the parts that differ by industry (workflows, forms, approval steps) separately from the parts that are the same everywhere (permissions, data, records). With a shared foundation, we can focus on each industry’s specifics and expand quickly to the next.

What AI handles,
what people decide.
AI’s role is the time-consuming organizing and drafting. Wherever decisions or external commitments are involved, a person reviews before anything moves forward.
How it differs from the alternatives.
There are other ways to digitize business operations, and each has its strengths. AAP fills the gap between them: it’s for companies that want their industry’s end-to-end work running right away, without assembling it themselves.
| Integrated business suites | No-code business platforms | Industry-specific software | AAP | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pricing approach | Many apps under one contract, including features you don’t use | Based on user count and build effort | Covers the industry’s core work; adjacent tasks need separate contracts | What your industry needs, bundled at lower cost |
| Strengths | Many apps under one contract | Build freely to fit your company | Deep coverage of the industry’s core work | Run your industry’s end-to-end work, preconfigured |
| What adoption requires | Choose and combine the apps to use | Design and build business apps in-house | Move core operations onto that software | Start with preconfigured workflows, with onboarding support |
| Industry-specific work | Adapt generic features yourself | Build it out in-house | Strong in core operations | Connects even the leftover work around core operations into one flow |
| Relationship to current software | Tends to assume replacement | You design the integrations | Tends to assume replacement | Keeps strong tools in place and integrates with them |
This summarizes general tendencies and is not an evaluation of any specific product.

FAQ
How much does it cost?
At launch, we’ll present pricing as a monthly package fee plus, where needed, an onboarding support fee. Pricing is designed to come in below subscribing to separate SaaS for each task. The Workflow Interview we’re currently asking for is free of charge.
Can I consult with you even if I haven’t decided whether to use AAP?
Yes. We’re happy to start from questions like what AI could do for you or where to begin with DX. After hearing about your work, we’ll make recommendations — including whether AAP is a good fit.
What happens to the software we use now?
Where specialized software is strong — accounting, payroll, compliance — our basic approach is to connect your data rather than replace it. You can start with the workflows that take the most effort.
What size of company is it for?
We have in mind companies whose work is spread across multiple tools and who have few or no dedicated IT staff. Company size doesn’t matter, so feel free to get in touch.
What if the AI makes a mistake?
Wherever judgment is required — quotes, contracts, billing — AI only goes as far as drafting; a person reviews and approves before anything is finalized. All actions are logged.
How is the information we share handled?
What you share with us is used solely to develop AAP. We will always obtain your consent in advance before disclosing your company name or details externally.
When will AAP be available?
AAP is currently in development. We will choose focus industries based on our interviews and launch after an early pilot. With companies that join the early pilot, we build AAP together while learning about their work. If you’re interested, let us know when you contact us or during your interview.
Let’s build the AAP
that fits your work — together.
For AI and DX questions, to join an AAP early pilot, or with any questions about AAP, please reach out through our contact form. If you’d simply like to tell us how your work runs, our Workflow Interview takes about 5 minutes of answering an AI’s questions (free of charge).
