Artivation Forecast

A research project that computes how the world changes from terrain, climate and resources. It repeatedly simulates history from 2000 BCE to the present and improves its causal model based on gaps with reality. The goal is to run a model that passes these historical checks 100 years forward and predict what technologies will emerge, when, and how widely they will spread.

Current status: a simplified food-and-population model is implemented. Scientific validation is still ahead, and no 100-year technology forecasts have been published yet.
